I have been joined by Bradley Baker who has answered some questions so you can find out a bit more about his music!
Welcome to Totally Music would you like to introduce yourself?
My name is Bradley Baker, Singer songwriter from the depths of the south… Cornwall.
What got you into music?
I first picked up a guitar aged 16, after listening to artists such as Lewis Watson & Ben Howard. I was so fascinated by the way they were playing the instrument that it made me want to learn.
What inspires you as an artist?
As an artist I use life in general & past experiences to help me write, I’ve had a lot of ups and down I’m my life and I like you use those experiences as Inspiration.
You’ve just released your new single ‘like you used to’ would you like to tell us about it?
I wrote this song with an amazingly talented individual named Will Heggadon, I think the track truly captures how it feels to be fallen out of love with.
How did you come up with the artwork for the song?
I wanted the artwork to be simple but also capture the emotion of the song, I believe the artwork came out amazing and couldn’t be happier.
What is your proudest accomplishment as a musician?
Featuring as BBC introducing “fave find” has to be up there with my proudest moment so far for sure.
What has been your favourite musical experience as a musician?
I think just being able to learn and work with amazing artists will always be my favourite experience.
What is your dream venue to perform at and why?
Royal Albert hall would be a blast for sure, I think any venue that I get the chance to perform at would be amazing.
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to follow in your food steps?
Enjoy every moment.
What’s next for you?
Just focusing on writing more music with some great people, hopefully playing more shows and just enjoying the ride :)
