Lucky Iris are a Leeds based duo and have recently released their new song ‘(I’m not good at writing) Love songs’ when they contacted me to review the song I have to say I was presently surprised on first listen.
One of them main things that stuck out to me about the song is how it goes straight into the lyrics and really catches your attention.
The song it’s self is really catchy and has a good beat to it. Especially the chorus and after just a couple of listens I found myself singing along.
I feel the song is really different but it a great way and Maeve and Jasper are both very talented.
This is a song I feel a lot of people can relate too and it has a really strong set of lyrics.
I also like how the end of the song finishes bang on the end of a lyric too and doesn’t have any instrumental before it ends which flows really well with the opening of the song.
The more I listen to this song the more I find parts that really stick out to me and I am excited to hear what is next from Lucky Iris. This is a song I would highly recommend you listening to!
