Ahead of their upcoming album (out of the 20th of June) Chasing Deer have just released their new single, 'Orchards', I think it’s safe to say this song is one you want to listen to.
Written by Rob Hodkinson & Ollie Hayes, this song really does capture the emotion, the lyrics are extremely powerful and as the song builds it creates the feeling that you are not alone.
Some of my favourite lyrics from this song are “You told me life is an orchard, And the tears that are forming Will help it grow” and “ Hope you don't mind me calling, Your voicemail's saving every line” which I feel hits you and give you the image of the emotions you go through when losing someone and wanting to talk to them.
I feel this song could be used as a movie soundtrack especially as it builds into the 2nd chorus.
I would highly recommend you give this song a listen and based on this single, I’m extremely excited for the album release!
