Being completely honest I had never heard of the band Project Culture before they contacted me and asked me to check out their new single “Drunk on Valentines Day” and I honestly don’t know why I haven’t come across their music before.
The song grabbed my attention straight away and I love how easy the lyrics are to hear as I find in some songs you can often mistake the words being said for something else.
Another thing I really like about the song is how as soon as it start it goes straight into the lyrics which are the title of the song “Drunk on Valentine’s day”, it really helps it to kick in.
The song has a very acoustic feel to it and I feel like it’s one you can sit back, relax and listen to. It has a mix of lightheartedness but is also very powerful in terms of the lyrics and is a song people can relate too.
Gary’s voice is really strong and the song suits him really well and shows off his talent.
I feel the art work of “Drunk on Valentine’s Day” really connects to the song too it is very simple but very effective and I love how the song title is captured with the drink being poured into the shape of a heart.
Based on this song I am very excited to follow the journey of Project Culture and I would totally recommend you give the song a listen!
